KG Mach knew she was a writer from the first time she held a marker in her hand. That’s right, folks, a permanent marker. The walls of her parent’s basement still bear indelible marks. Fun fact: It takes approximately 40 years for black magic marker to wear off furniture. 

Today KG Mach is both a teacher and writer (the two things go together quite well!) She loves the natural world (she grew up on a small farm in the woods) and she feels most at peace there. Today she can often be found outside exploring her world and observing the animals. (If you ask her, she may admit talking to them, too.) When she is not taking long walks (and thinking up story), she may be at home spinning yarns both literal and figurative.
